John DeMarco

With over 40 years of comprehensive real estate management experience, John DeMarco brings a distinguished track record, highlighted by his 15-year tenure as Director of Real Estate at global technology leader IBM. His extensive corporate career also encompasses senior leadership roles across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Marketing, where he successfully led large organizations in each discipline.

John is widely recognized for his transformative impact on workplace design, leasing, construction, maintenance, and environmental management. A pioneer in commercial real estate innovation, he has driven the development of innovative real estate processes and IT systems. As a subject matter expert in AI-enabled smart building applications, John has received many industry awards that acknowledge his significant contributions leveraging AI to enable more efficient real estate practices.

Since 2016, John has used this rich experience into his second career. He currently serves as Vice President of Commercial Real Estate at Century 21 and is President of his own Consulting and Development firm. John has established himself as a top-producing broker, executing transactions across diverse market segments, including Medical, Agriculture, Industrial, Hospitality, Retail, Subdivisions, Apartment Complexes, and both Multi- and Single-Family Residential properties. Renowned for his expertise, he maintains an extensive client network of seasoned real estate investors and developers who often call upon John to consult on complex development projects, from planning to execution.

John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, graduating with honors from Mount St. Mary’s College.
